Scorpion, Part 1 from Star Trek Voyager, a scene in which Captain Janeway stumbles upon a fleet of Borg cubes hiding in a nebula, ready to attack species 8472, Voyager caught in the middle prepares to warp!
Great image! At first sight I was reminded of the enlarged image viewed inboard the LEONOV, in 2010: The Year The Year We make Contact. Where the crew could see thousands of monoliths swarming within Jupiter's Giant Red Spot.
We all know the Intrepid Class starships were tough, but it took seeing U.S.S. Voyager take a pounding to prove what a workable design she really was ... even in the Year of Hell she held together pretty well.
Epic. Not often I find a fellow fan of the collective. Don't know how much you play mmo's, but I must take this opportunity to inform you that I run a Borg empire in the pre-alpha space mmo "Shores of Hazeron".
Assimilation (recruitment) has been difficult, since I have a hard time finding people willing to roleplay even to the extent of saying "you will be assimilated!" when we attack a world. If interested, visit hazeron.com and when in game ask for 4 of 12 (that's me) and we'll turn you into a drone in no time. Bear in mind should you choose to join, there's a fairly steep learning curve, but after we show you how everything works we guarantee it is worth the effort.
Otherwise, I'm still going to have to be among the many I see here who are turning this into their desktop wallpaper. Calculating via the full intelligence of the collective consciousness, this is over 9000% epic. Voyager will be assimilated.
Sorry, don't have time for the roleplay side of things but thank you very much for adding this as your desktop wallpaper, every time someone says they're going to do it it adds a tear to my eye. ..........Resistance is futile!
